The basic desire of human nature is to know that your existence matters. If no one has ever told you this in your life I want to tell you that you matter. You matter because the greatest and only God created YOU in HIS image. (Genesis 1:27) Your life has purpose and it has so much value. The Kings of Kings considers you to be so special. He loves who you are so much that He is considered to be a mighty warrior that delights and sings songs over you with love. (Zephaniah 3:17) When He looks at you He says, "Wow I am so in love!" Even through our flaws, He accepts us and loves us for who we are. We don't have to put on a facade in order for Him to love us, we can come to Him as ourselves and He loves that about us. I don't know about you, but that just does something to me. It really helps me to put my life in a greater perspective.
In life you go through situations and it can get you to question if your life is even worth anything. It's like when those things happen it causes us to think that the value of our life goes down. I don't know what those situations might've been for you, but know this it doesn't define the value of your life. Look to the One that is looking at you with such love and determines your worth based off of that love. He is constantly gazing at you with love, even in those times when you can't bare to look at yourself. He is waiting for you to take your eyes off of what man says and to listen to what says. what has happened to you doesn't determine how much worth your life has. The Lord is the only one who determines your worth. One thing that I think that people miss about God and how He is correlated to their life is how much He cares about us.When He created you, He knew your life would have purpose. Matter of fact, He strategically placed you here in this moment for a such a special purpose. Everything about you He made with this in mind. When He sees us down and not caring about our life it really hurts Him. He took precious time and chose to create you in your mother's womb with plans that includes a future with a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11) Don't miss that great truth. Just think about it, if He didn't put value on your life, He wouldn't have given you that breath of air you just inhaled. He wouldn't have sent His holy Son to die a terrible death for us, (Romans 8:32) when in all actuality it really should've been us. He came down from glory to Earth and died for you. He wants you to really grasp what He did on the cross, and know how much worth that places on your life.
I've noticed in my life and others, that when when we compare our lives to others it can make us think our life doesn't matter compared to theirs. This world has placed the worth of life so low, to the point where how much money you have or how many "likes" proves your worth.Sadly when you compare yourself to others, it doesn't take long for the thought that your life doesn't matter to pop in. So what if your life doesn't look like theirs! Your life is so special and worth so much to the Father despite if you have much or a little. He had no desire to make you like someone else. Once you know whose you belong to then that will all disappear.
It's time for you to realize that you truly are a somebody with a great plan over their life. God didn't create your life for you to be miserable and hopeless. Instead He gives hope to the hopeless. God doesn't look at our past mistakes and determine whether or not we have worth. Instead He looks at the work of His Son on the cross. This isn't something that shouldn't be taken lightly because when God says that your life matters He means it. He is a firm foundation and what He says He means it. We can put our hope in His word. (Psalm 119:74) His love is like no other and He desires to pour it all on you. The things that He has for you are out of this world. Invite him into your heart now as your groom. He is calling you out of the darkness into his marvelous light. He is gentle, His burden is light and His yoke is easy (Matthew 11:29)
As always stay beautiful,
